Khloe Kardashian’s One Complaint from Her Glamour Cover Shoot

You go, KoKo! Fresh off the excitement of her July 2016 Glamour Mexico cover, Khloé Kardashian shared behind the scenes footage from her shoot.

In a khloewithak.com video, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 32, took her fans to Beverly Hills, where the magic happened. Glamour Mexico’s staffers transformed the backyard to what she compared to Thailand, with plenty of greenery and architectural elements that looked authentic. “How dope is this?” Kardashian asked.

Lucy Lara, Glamour Mexico’s editor in chief, explained that they were going for a jungle feel. “Like she would be in Vietnam … very mysterious,” she said. “Very dramatic.”

The lush background was the perfect backdrop for Kardashian’s softer looks: a draped slipdress and tan heels as well as a white top, tan pencil skirt and a khaki trench duster.

“I love this. You look like you’re a CEO. A baller!” a member of Kardashian’s team praised.

The Strong Looks Better Naked author brought stylist Monica Rose, hairstylist Jen Atkin and makeup artist Joyce Bonelli along for the ride. Along with Kardashian’s signature nude lip and smoky eye, Bonelli gave her client an intense plum lip achieved with a Kylie Lip Kit shade and Tom Ford products.

Andrea Mendez, Glamour Mexico’s fashion director, had a few more flattering words to add. “We chose Khloé for our cover of July because she’s a big role model,” she said. “We love her in Latin America. She’s an inspiration for everyone.”

Although she appeared confident, Kardashian had one complaint. “I miss my short hair, you guys,” she griped. “I need to take this weave out!”
